Meet the Team

Dr Tim Papadopoulos
Director of Cosmetic Culture
Dr Tim is a certified cosmetic and plastic surgeon, past president of the Australasian Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS), a member of the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) and a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS). Tim is also an International member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. Dr Tim is a member and Board Director of the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and an international active member of the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.
Maria Rougos
Practice Manager
Maria Rougos joined Cosmetic Culture in 2003. She studied Civil Engineering at Melbourne University and went on to work for Australia’s leading engineering firms McLachlan Consultants and then Kinhill. Her creativity, entrepreneurial and leadership skills have greatly contributed to the expansion and success of our practice. Maria coordinates all patient-relation functions, business operations, public relations, and sales and marketing efforts. Her passion for the medical/aesthetics industry is a perfect match as she thrives in an innovative, cutting-edge organisation.
Cheryl Simpson
Practice Manager/Beauty Therapist/Penrith
Cheryl joined Cosmetic Culture in 2002 and holds a Diploma in Beauty Therapy.  She previously ran her own business for over 10 years. Cheryl is responsible for Cosmetic Culture’s Penrith Practice and coordinates all patient-relations and contact, business operations as well as advertising and marketing. As a qualified Beauty Therapist, Cheryl has a vast amount of experience in the Cosmetic Industry as a make up artist for Television, Magazines and the Fashion Industry. With her training and extensive knowledge of all surgical and non surgical procedures, Cheryl is here to provide informed advice on your personal goals and to ensure your experience an enjoyable one.
Kelly Night
Practice Administrator/Lane Cove
Kelly Knight joined Cosmetic Culture in 2009 bringing with her an extensive background in administration and customer service, both in the corporate arena as well as, more recently, Plastic Surgery.  Her extensive knowledge in all facets of cosmetic non-surgical and surgical procedures ensures that you will find the answers you need to your initial enquiries. Kelly Knight organises the day-to-day running of Cosmetic Culture, Lane Cove and will be one of the first to greet you when you call or arrive.  She will endeavour to make your first, as well as each one of your follow-up visits to our Lane Cove practice a pleasant, comfortable and well informed experience.
Evita Edelmane
Marketing Manager
Evita Edelmane joined the team of Cosmetic Culture in 2012. As a business graduate she brings her sales and marketing experience, as well as customer service and administration skills to the team. Previously employed in the Plastic Surgery field, her knowledge on our services together with her friendly manner will ensure you are made to feel comfortable and your enquiries are answered. Evita is responsible for day to day running of our Pyrmont clinic. She is also trained in carrying out Coolsculpting treatments in the Pyrmont clinic.
Marilyn Cassetta
Aesthetic Nurse Specialist
Arriving from America in 1992, Marilyn Cassetta brings with her, comprehensive knowledge regarding skin with over seven years’ experience in Burns ICU and Burn Rehabiliation. Hired in 1986 by a San Francisco plastic surgeon, she was the first in the nation to become an Aesthetic Nurse Specialist, injecting the only dermal filler at that time: bovine collagen to plastic surgery patients. Moving to Australia, she had the opportuntity to introduce the role of Aesthetic Nurse Specialist in Australia, as the advanced technique trainer for Collagen Biomedical. Marilyn Cassetta has trained doctors and nurses throughout the USA, Australia and New Zealand in product knowledge and technical skills. She regularly attends educational conferences throughout the world and maintains membership with several professional plastic surgery organisations: the American Society of Plastic Surgical Nurses and the Society of Plastic Surgery Skin Care Specialists (USA). She has also has achieved board certification in her field, holding both qualifications: Certified Aesthetic Nurse Specialist and Certified Plastic Surgery Nurse from and the ASPSN. Marilyn Cassetta regularly attends educational conferences throughout the world to stay apprised of the latest techniques, products and services available to the cosmetic medical patient.
Nita McHugh RN
Aesthetic Nurse Specialist
Nita Mchugh RN is a master injector and aesthetic nurse specialist. During her 25 year career she has treated thousands of patients. Artistic and creative in nature, Nita is very passionate about making the effort to fully understand her patient’s goals and expectations then developing a treatment plan to achieve the desired results. Whether it’s a one time procedure or a series of procedures over time, Nita’s goal is to achieve a balanced appearance while minimising discomfort and bruising. In recognition of her years of experience, technical skills and knowledge, Nita is in high demand as a teacher having mentored and trained other injectors, cosmetic physicians and plastic surgeons in the finer points of injecting and other non surgical cosmetic procedures. She is a true believer in natural restoration and enhancements and approaches her work in a holistic manner. She is a certified advanced injector in dermal fillers, anti wrinkle, biostimulants, and PRP.
Ginelle Kelly
Aesthetic Nurse Specialist
Ginelle Kelly has been active in the cosmetic industry since the early 1990s. Her abilities, coupled with her warm and caring personality is a winning combination! She is a trained in a wide variety of non-ablative techniques that complement the work of our surgeons and assist those wanting a non-surgical approach to self-improvement. Her skills with precise technique, and wide base of knowledge have gained the respect of patients, staff, and others in the community. Her areas of expertise include: skin rejuvenation, anti-wrinkle injections, cosmetic fillers, laser hair removal, laser vein treatments, photofacials, laser skin tightening, chemical peels, microdermabrasion and skin care for acne and anti-aging.
Meg Roberts
Aesthetic Nurse Specialist
Meg Roberts has an extensive medical background, which allows her to provide comprehensive care to all of her patients. She practiced as a Pediatric/Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse and later worked as a medical aesthetician for 5 years prior to joining our practice. She consistently excels in every facet of patient care, and is committed to improve the overall health and appearance of her patients' skin. Meg Roberts has a wide range of training and experience in non-ablative procedures and is meticulous at her work. Her areas of expertise include, but are not limited to: skin rejuvenation, anti-wrinkle -injections, cosmetic fillers, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, laser hair removal, laser vein treatments, and general skin care service & product knowledge for acne and anti-aging.
Alex Laureti
Laser Therapist
Alex Laureti is coming to Cosmetic Culture with over 12 + years experiences in the beauty industry and 3.5 years experience with various lasers and devices. She has extensive knowledge and understanding of Sciton BBL, Cutera-Exceland laser Genesis, Revlite-Qswitch, Emerge Fractional Non-Ablative, Skinpen-Microneedling and Pelleve-RF Skin tightening. Her passion is assisting clients to achieve their intended goal by developing treatment plans that focus on a holistic approach to anti-aging and beauty, while at the same time educating clients on best practices specifically tailored to their individual needs.
Gordana Willesee Poljak
Cosmetic Tattooing
Gordana's unmatched skill and artistry have been crafted during nearly two decades working in Australia’s television and film industries. Gordana’s trademark style and expertise have firmly positioned her as the makeup artist and groomer of choice for Hollywood’s A-list when they are visiting Australia. She recently travelled with the team for the Australian launch The Greatest Showman, and worked with actor Scott Eastwood during his promotional tour of Pacific Rim in February 2018. Other clients include Zac Efron, Reese Witherspoon, Anne Hathaway, Anna Faris, Famke Janssen, Tom Hiddleston, Vince Vaughan, Orlando Bloom, Mel Gibson, Russell Crowe, Ashton Kutcher and Hugh Grant, as well as Australian leading ladies Cate Blanchett, Rose Byrne, Teresa Palmer, Rachael Taylor and Rachel Griffiths. Broadening her expertise, Gordana spent several years researching the area of cosmetic tattooing before undertaking training in both the fundamentals and advanced methods in Australia and the US. She is a member of the Society of Permanent Cosmetic Professionals. In 2017 Gordana launched her first Sydney studio, Dr Freckle & Mr Hide, specialising in several different techniques including eyebrow microblading, ombre and feathering procedures. Cosmetic tattooing, also called micro-pigmentation, involves the controlled insertion of colour pigments into the dermis layer of the skin via small needles. Gaining increasing popularity, micro-blading involves partially or fully camouflaging missing eyebrow hair with fine deposits of cosmetic tattoo pigments to create the simulated appearance of hair. Expanding her expertise beyond the permanent make-up, Gordana also provides medical tattooing services for people who suffer from various conditions including alopecia and cancer. By completely rebuilding the appearance of eyebrows for cancer patients who have lost hair following chemotherapy, or for breast cancer sufferers who have undergone a mastectomy, she utilises her skills to re-create a three-dimensional-looking nipple and areola.
Marta Toth-Gulyas
Clinical Nurse Specialist in Plastics & Reconstructive Surgery
Marta Toth-Gulyas is a senior Clinical Nurse Specialist in Plastics and Reconstructive Surgery and joined the team at Cosmetic Culture in 2012. Marta has 13 years of clinical nursing experience in a variety of specialties with qualifications in Nursing Management and Clinical Education. In 2010, Marta completed her Certificate IV in Business- Frontline Management and prior to this, in 2006 she completed Post Graduate studies in Advanced Nursing specialising in Wound Management and Infection Control. Marta is trained in Basic Life Support, Paediatric Basic Life Support and Advanced Paediatric Life Support. Since joining Cosmetic Culture, Marta has also taken on the role of CoolSculpting Team Leader combining her extensive nursing experience to achieve proven clinical results for her patients.
Kate Joseph
Endorsed Enrolled Nurse
Kate Joseph is an experienced Endorsed Enrolled Nurse with extensive experience in the field of Plastics and Reconstructive Surgeries and joined the team at Cosmetic Culture in 2015. Kate has 10 years of clinical nursing experience in a variety of specialties. Kate is a qualified personal trainer and fitness instructor with a special interest in nutrition and returning to physical fitness following surgery. Kate has successfully completed her first aid and basic life support training. Since joining Cosmetic Culture, Kate has completed advanced Coolsculpting training and is one of our Coolsculpting technicians. Kate has a genuine enthusiasm to all aspects of her work allowing her to adopt a highly personalised holistic approach to patient care.
