CosmeticCulture is proud to offer cosmetic tattooing through the services of the extremely talented Gordana Willesee Poljak.
Gordana’s unmatched skill and artistry have been crafted during nearly two decades working in Australia’s television and film industries.
Gordana’s trademark style and expertise have firmly positioned her as the makeup artist and groomer of choice for Hollywood’s A-list when they are visiting Australia.
She recently travelled with the team for the Australian launch The Greatest Showman, and worked with actor Scott Eastwood during his promotional tour of Pacific Rim in February 2018.
Other clients include Zac Efron, Reese Witherspoon, Anne Hathaway, Anna Faris, Famke Janssen, Tom Hiddleston, Vince Vaughan, Orlando Bloom, Mel Gibson, Russell Crowe, Ashton Kutcher and Hugh Grant, as well as Australian leading ladies Cate Blanchett, Rose Byrne, Teresa Palmer, Rachael Taylor and Rachel Griffiths.
Broadening her expertise, Gordana spent several years researching the area of cosmetic tattooing before undertaking training in both the fundamentals and advanced methods in Australia and the US. She is a member of the Society of Permanent Cosmetic Professionals.
In 2017 Gordana launched her first Sydney studio, Dr Freckle & Mr Hide, specialising in several different techniques including eyebrow microblading, ombre and feathering procedures. Cosmetic tattooing, also called micro-pigmentation, involves the controlled insertion of colour pigments into the dermis layer of the skin via small needles. Gaining increasing popularity, micro-blading involves partially or fully camouflaging missing eyebrow hair with fine deposits of cosmetic tattoo pigments to create the simulated appearance of hair.
Expanding her expertise beyond the permanent make-up, Gordana also provides medical tattooing services for people who suffer from various conditions including alopecia and cancer.
By completely rebuilding the appearance of eyebrows for cancer patients who have lost hair following chemotherapy, or for breast cancer sufferers who have undergone a mastectomy, she utilises her skills to re-create a three-dimensional-looking nipple and areola.
